New album
After a summer of writing new material, lots of different versions of the new songs have been tried and tested and they are now ready for recording. Rich is very enthusiastic about the new album and rightly so. Myself and a handful of others have heard a couple of the demos and we all loved them. Rich’s song writing seems to be blossoming!
So, with producer Phil Taylor ready to work the desk and the mercurial talent of Richard Barrett on lead guitar alongside Geoff Randall and Otto Metaxas on piano and bass, it’s all systems go! Studio time is booked and recording starts this month. We aim to begin promoting the new album in the New Year.
Stay tuned for the official release date.
We are delighted to say that the song "Coyote Cries" has been snapped up by a music publisher and we are very hopeful of some good news to share soon.
Rich has also been approached by another Music Publishing company about co- writing a song in aid of the charity, "Help for Heroes". This is in the early stages but watch this space.
Recording!
Hey Guys, well, we are about to go into the recording studio for the new album, most of the songs are ready to go and we are all looking forward to creating a very strong follow up to "Terracotta skies". I am especially looking forward to seeing what the two newest members of the band will bring to this project. We now have Alex Hall on lead guitar who is bringing a unique freshness to the band with his stunning guitar playing, alongside Alex Flokkas on drums who brings an energy which cannot be ignored. With the ever solid Otto Metaxas on bass and Geoff Randall tying the sound together, we are ready to go. Gigs to promote the album will be announced in the near future.
Take it easy...Rich
Latest...
Can you believe it, three months have passed since our last update. After playing a full calendar of gigs in the past year, Rich and the band are now focused on the follow up album to "Terracotta Skies". With most of the material written, Rich is recording rough demos of the songs alongside the band in readiness of travelling up to the Phil Taylor's studio in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside to record and mix the tracks which will be going on the new, as yet untitled album.
Now is also the time to think about festival dates for next year, demos are being sent left right and straight down the middle to festival organisers and more promoters are coming on board having heard and liked "Terracotta Skies" and various live performances.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who came along to our very well supported gigs, we feel very blessed to have the fan base that we do. From some of Rich's more intimate solo performances to the full band line up, you have all done us proud and enabled us to get better gigs at more established venues. Thank you...
Again, thanks to Peter Holmstedt at "Hemifran" who is working tirelessly on our behalf in Europe. Big thanks to Littleman at Totally Unsigned...have a great trip dude.
